Playstation 3 Customer Reviews

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsWild Arms RPG series is an alternative that has managed to shift over time. However, serious Wild Arms is very similar to your standard turn-based RPG, but replacing swords, axes and hammers with weapons - guns literally.

However, Wild Arms 3 braided together the various aspects of the gameplay quite well. Just as in the FF VII was able to have a logical connection between the story and combat system. The combat system is very similar to all your standard turn-based the system. In fact the maximum level the system is a mix of FF IX and FF VI - to acquire the skills and the need to assign points to them, but compared ot FF IX has more freedom of what skills to give your characters . Also similar to FF VI is required summons to help you learn new skills. The difference is FF VI is definitely acquire those skills, but Wild Arms 3, the transfer of competence with your quotation, as in FF VIII Junction System.

History essay started quite well but then began to drag after you went to 3 / 4 of the story. This is probably a way to prolong the game. One of the worst aspect is that you must scan the world to unlock locations. This is really annoying when you have only a rough idea WHERE the place to be then need to go about scanning for hours before finding the route you go in. Furthermore, in some dungeon, how to solve the puzzles are pretty boring for example highly accurate timing to turn on some keys together. These are things I think should be paid attention to the sequel.

In terms of missions, there are a lot to do for you and some of the quests give you something called EX keys file for you to unlock bonus material in the future through play. However, none of them are in easy and sometimes really frustrating. Furthermore, the premium with these keys are not important and useful, as you might think they are. So if you're tired of crawling around the world to end some of them, you can simply go to finish the main story.

Graphic wise, it's cel-shaded. The quality is not bad, but once appreciated in the cel-shaded Zelda: The Wind Waker, none of the other cel-shaded games to satisfy this kind of aesthetic quality anymore. The soundtrack is not bad although some were recycled music too much and eventually just change the music off, particularly in the Abyss 100 (what's up with games nowadays? There are many 100secret!)

To summarize, Wild Arms 3 is not a bad RPG and it does have its attraction for the chance to play with it again in the future. There are certain things that definitely needs to be fixed at such positions driven story should show automatically instead of requiring full scan. Formulars also some annoying puzzles should be revised or removed. However, it is a solid RPG that can take a lot of hours of your life to play if you want to do everything in the game. Areally good buy.

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsAwesome RPG - M RMZ - California
This is the first game I have lived in the Wild Arms series and I must say that I absolutely love. I see that there is a lot of mixed reviews on the game, and I do not understand why. The game is very well done. The fighting engine in the game is very fun and makes you really think proactively, since it makes all the moves for the entire shift at the same time, and the need to anticipate what the computer will do. The characters are interesting, although the prologue can be slow. The game is different, and different story lines are unique and exciting. Some games can be so repetitive and predictable, but this story line was well written IMO.

I bought this game for my sister absolutely loves it! A couple of things he loves this game, which is like a puzzle rpg. A little 'as like Legend of Zelda is, but more complex. The game music is good, and so are the movies. It 's a great buy!

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsHas Not Aged Well - Lisa Shea -
This review was written by James Shea, my son

A series full of twists RPG only, Wild Arms is generally a good series, and Wild Arms 3 is no exception to this unique style. Has as much in common with a history of Wild West, like a fantasy RPG.

The story follows four characters (each introduced with its part-story, before their marriage) that are on a mission to retrieve the mystical scepter that will restore order and protect the world of Filgaia. The four characters are Virginia, a young girl in search of his father, Gallows, a former priest, Clive, a bounty hunter, and Jet, a ruthless treasure hunter. The story itself is less important than the setting, which incorporates elements of Western history, contained in the elements of fantasy (monsters shooting guns, for example). The approach is quite distinctive, and is reflected in music and design of game levels.

The combat system is a regular turn-based RPG system, with a few quirks. First, all the characters use guns (or weapons), which means that they need to recharge every now and then. This is done using the command call, while the defense, will reload their rifles. In addition to shooting, there are magical abilities and items to use, standard RPG fare, after all. The only other remarkable thing about the combat system is that you can undo moves, which wastes a turn, but can prevent you from doing something that does not want (such as accidentally using an elemental attack on a creature that heals these attacks). During exploration, there are a few tricks as well. Characters can sprint or hidden, depending on the situation, and there are also special skills, such as fires or throw boomerangs that are used for puzzle-solving. Finally, most importantly in my opinion, the characters can avoid random battles with good timing, pressing the circle button when an enemy is approaching (meaning an exclamation point on character head).

On the world map, places are not marked immediately, characters need to get clues and information, and thus essentially puzzle where the site is on paper. This is kind of clean, meaning that the characters are homeless and need to find where stuff is, but at the same time is a bit 'frustrating because the random encounters.

The graphics are cel-shaded, and certainly well enough for their time but have not fared well.Everything seems kind of bland, although the character designs pretty cool. The sound has a Western motif to it, as already mentioned, but there is a very exceptional music, and there is no voice acting at all. In most ways, is similar to Skies of Arcadia - this was the game I kept thinking about this when I played. However, there is also a lot of things that had SoA.

This was definitely a good game in its time, but unfortunately has not aged very well. If you are aFans of the series, or a hardcore RPG fan, pick it up. But otherwise, at this point, do not worry.

Rating 6 / 10.

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsPretty good overall. - Ben A. Lien - WI USA
The game is very funny, a bit 'like Wild Arms 1 and 2, but has a more complex combat system and better graphics. There are still some of the most annoying things in the gameplay as the finder sonar as a symbol on the world map should be used every few steps, but the game is still a lot of fun.
