Playstation 3 Customer Reviews

Overall I really enjoyed this game. The game control is pretty good once you get the hang of all weapons and different abilities. I especially like how, unlike many games, Avatar is not burdened by too many customizable settings. Moving with the goal, switching weapons, etc is very intuitive and ergonomic. The camera control is also very good once you get the hang of it. The music is great and the beautiful, lush landscapes are fantastic! Load times are minimal, especially given thehigher quality of animation and, unlike games like GTA IV (which I also love), R & D and play-testing went into this game not only the usual "okay, it's funny now. ship it."
Players have a choice of 24 skin for their human, 12 males and 12 females. Furthermore, any three of these skins are paired with another avatar, so there are 4 male and 4 female avatar skins. Add to this the different weaves encountered during the game and each character isthrough a litany of changes to their appearance.
At first I thought the game was too easy, what with endless ammunition for the weapon to default, charging stations ammunition screens every 5 or so, life infinite and the minimum sentence to death, three several ways to recharge your health, the fact that self-saves your progress in most battles, and the fact that you can always re-load the game and all your health, ammo, etc. return (if too expensive to walk for 10 secondsto find another station ammunition). And then there's the radar / mini-map and area maps which continually shows where to go next, making it impossible to get lost. In addition there are machines that make teleportation travel farther on the map more than once useless, and allies to help in the battle, and auto-targeting that allows you to clear your opponents without even need to look at the screen ... Come to think of it, maybe this game is too easy.
Morethings that I loved the Avatar are AutoRecover feature that prevents the accumulation of fatigue redundant / obsolete prejudice, and the way the game is actually two games, depending on whether you fight for the human side or the side Na ' vi. That combined with the diversity of character skins gives more replay value this game tons that the typical "interactive movie" type of RPG. There are also quite random powerups scattered throughout the maps and weapons fairly frequent / armor / skills, updates, etc to keep you busy. The "skills" in particular possible to use a number of different battle strategies. There are also deep in the game write-up on almost every aspect of Pandoran / story you Na 'and stuff for those interested. I have not even tried the 3D mode, but that make the game more interesting. (There are also several mini-games that have not yet obtained the video.) I paid $ 39.99 when first Avatar was released for the PS3 and still think it was a greatfor this game. $ 30 or less is a bargain. Quite apart from the content I have yet to unlock (mini-games, online gaming, etc.) are more convenient to give this game 5 stars. Overall, I'm quite sure there is enough content here to keep me busy entertaining until the sequel comes out.
I would like to thank James Cameron for sharing his vision in both film and game. Not since Jim Henson film The Dark Crystal "has a wonderful dense universe been presentedvividly. It 'obvious that a ton of thought (more than three decades worth it!) Went into planning the approach and the back-story for Pandora, and it shows really. Frankly I am surprised that the writing of this review there are only a few dozen reviews for the PS3 game and only a faq on GameFAQs dot com. Then again, I grew up on NES 8-bit, I never play online, and until I've always played Avatar cheated my way through every person shooter Doom Quake 1SR from Halo. The low-keychallenge presented in this game is a nice change of pace for me, offering the opportunity to explore the amazing landscape Pandoran without the threat of spending tons of time to go back to where I was when I died, all without CHEATING!

Great game if you have the ability to play it in 3D - hilmaster -
I must admit I bought this game for the 3D function that has been mentioned in other reviews because it is not officially stated anywhere.
At first I was disappointed, I own a Samsung LED TV with 3D active shutter glasses and I was able to watch a pair of 3D movies and played a couple of 3D demo I downloaded from the PSN and the 3D effect in both movies and games is simply fantastic, I cannot get enough of it!
When I played this game and went to set the set-upoptions, I found the 3D function, but all the settings I tried I could not get the effect. I was also considering the return game because of this. This game unlike others, do not enable the 3D capabilities in my TV automatically, I had to do it manually by going to Settings and select the 3D option compatible with the game. In my particular case I chose the 3D side-by-side control board, both for the game and the TV and voila! The 3D popped up and it is simply incredible!
Judging bymy first impression, this is primarily a shooting / war game, not really. However, the quality of 3D graphics makes it a great game to play. I have not played much yet, but the game I connected once I got familiar with the plot and features. I would definitely recommend this game, especially if you have a 3D capable TV.

Avatar the game - J. Klein - South Point, OH USA
Too graphic for 9 years (opinion of parents, not children!), So obviously good graphics. Lot of cursing and a bit 'confusing for nine years. Character has been directed to go somewhere specific, but when he tried, he could not reach. Definitely older teenager or adult game. Stored away on the shelf for now, maybe trade-in or save after about 9 years more!

Thought was a good game as the movie - Javier Bustamante - Miramar, FL USA
If I tell you one thing and take some headache pills before playing this game! The film is excellent and I thought this game would be the same, but I was wrong. If you want to get your brain crazy to buy this game.
