Playstation 3 Customer Reviews

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsI was ready to give this game the highest rating, but has an obvious flaw that I can not ignore. And this flaw is its length. Until I finished the game, I was completely baffled by the poor scores received by the media.

There are a couple of things that make a very particular game Genji:

1 - It 's very well presented. It 'obvious that a great deal of polish and care were put in-game presentation of the menus, the sound design, architecture of the buildings ... of high quality.

2 - This game is just dripping with atmosphere. It is often dark, but it is not clear, say, a Resident Evil. It is not intended to terrorize. But it has a dark, mystical quality that is rare if not nonexistent, in most games.

3 - This game is constantly putting you up against the boss. I do not think I've ever played an adventure game where I had to fight boss so often. I suppose they wanted to pack as much action inthe game as possible.

4 - On a similar note, I do not think I've ever played a game in which I was able to upgrade my weapons and armor so frequently. This is neither a negative or positive. Frankly, it was just a bit 'strange =). Once you get used to a cool new weapon, the game pushes another, the most powerful weapon in the face.

But back to the length. You know, when all is said and done, not every game has to be some super long, epic adventure. But the problem runsdeeper than just the length. The truth is that there just are not that many environments in this game. If the length has remained the same, but there have been many different environments, IMO, the game would be close to perfection.

All in all, though, a great game.

And one last thing I forgot to mention. I found the combat to be quite fun.
A great result especially considering there is no lock-on targeting.

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsLOVED IT - Char -
I bought this game right when it came out, and to be honest, the $ 60 price tag was fine with me. I loved it so much. It 's very quick, but I liked it so much! The movements were very interesting and beautiful (it's hard to keep my attention with games).

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsHack 'n' Slash Madness - Jasmine Miranda - Brooklyn, NY, USA
When I played this game, I thought it was really fun. I liked that the game was completely in Japanese. He gave me the feeling that the approach was really in feudal Japan. I like hack and slash genre as Ninja Gaiden and God of War, but Genji is the crème de la crème. It is a ten hours SPC. The final boss was stupid, even though I was seriously underleveled it encounters.

After experiencing the graphics godly in the likes of Metal Gear Solid 4 on PS3, ismade me understand the basic way the pictures were in this game. The CGI cutscene graphics were not totally equal, but the graphics in-game facial expression and lack of detail that would be appreciated. When Yoshitune or Benkei or anyone for that matter, has spoken in the game, it was just a lot of mouths in motion, no facial animation of any kind. That watered down the emotions of the character. Voice-over alone can not build the credibility that the protagonist feels some emotion. But I realizethis game is released on PS2 ... There is not much I could say that.

All in all, it is a creative game, tied with pieces of Japanese culture, of course. I enjoyed it. I bought this game after I found out that kept freezing on my PS3. I think that BC would not have worked, so I'm currently playing on my old PS2 out of pure time-killing. This is Final Fantasy 13 after this.

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsA Fun Game - Ron - Jersey
This proved to be one of my favorite games. In many ways this is a hack and slash, but there are subtle techniques of fighting and a lot of strategy is needed to win. With two very different playable characters, you have your choice between the slow but powerful warrior swordsman or faster but weaker. Each has its strengths and weaknesses and will use in the games for the various tasks that either can do alone. The game is difficult, at times, but nottoo, to become frustrating. He felt very authentic Japanese and I liked the story. It took me about 8 1 / 2 hours of play to solve the game. I'm sure the veteran players will probably be done in 6 or so. This is a good used to collect the garbage. I really liked it.

Playstation 3 Customer ReviewsDragonball Z Character Dialogue to the Rescue! - Dakota Nielsen - Somewhere in the West, USA
Boring and repetitive. This is exactly how I sum up this game. The action is just the constant repetition that we do not feel satisfied, and constant dialogue and character scenes leave you startled by laughter painful. If you have ever watched Dragonball Z on Cartoon Network then you will know what I'm talking about. If you do not compare Speed Racer "I'll be the greatest runner in the world!" "No, I'm the greatest runner in the world!" etc. etc. I want my $ 12 back. Timego pawn this junk off at GameStop.
